We've heard of Risk Management and know they exist, but what do they really do?

Our speaker, Paul LoVerme, will walk us through the complicated issues that are presented to governmental agencies and the delicate handling of those cases to bring them to resolution.  Items ranging from simple cases to Federal lawsuits loom over our heads as professionals.  If you or your department is named in a lawsuit, what goes into defending you in that case?  Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes?  Here is your chance to hear from a seasoned expert on governmental claims that range from tripping on gum in the lobby to stories you hear about on the evening news.

Paul LoVerme handles all liability exposures and lawsuits that are presented to the County of Ventura.  Paul is the sole representative to address the day-to-day liability exposures that the County and its over 10,000 employees face.  No stranger to liability claims, Paul has over 20 years of experience handling claims in a variety of categories, including auto, commercial, and farm losses.  Paul was also a reserve police officer here in California, and that experience enables him to better understand and resolve law enforcement liability issues for the County of Ventura.
